8 Refining Cuffs & Sleeves

The cuffs are a tricky part of the carving, and your cuffs could well look different to mine. Whatever they look like, you need to get a good sense of how they 'work' and show this clearly. In other words, how the opening of the cuff arises from a single point and splits, and how the two edges of the open cuff relate to each other.

Throughout this project, I've made more of talking through what I'm doing; sharing my thoughts and the process.

At this stage of the woodcarving, you should not have undercut anything. All that - and undercutting is a fair bit of work - will come later.
