7 Beak

We sneak up on the beak from the eye recesses and with the beak looking sharp and mean we are well into the owl looking, well, like an owl...

The carving seems to wobble a lot as I'm working. The stand does indeed have a natural spring which I really don't notice as I'm hands on carving. But the camera does and exaggerates the effect, which I hope this isn't distracting.
