Two halves of a log

Finish: Danish oil and bees wax
Dimensions: 12 inches tall

Description:

My son gave me a log from his garden. I split it and with one side I carved a fish bowl, the other I carved through the bark to reveal a barn owl.. I varnished the fish bowl. But the barn owl I bleached the belly and face. The wings are natural wood colour. Only the eyes are painted.
