What a great video by Chris ! My wood block was only 190mm square and the lowering and leveling was difficult, even though I used my recently bought bent skew gouges. The background was lowered to 8mm deep. I hope to do a bigger and better second version sometime. Chris' demo of carving with bent skew gouges has been a great help to me; a technique which I shall use frequently.
