Moth

Project Owner: Joseph Bolton
Type of Wood: Mahogany
Finish: Oil Wax Mixture
Dimensions: 6" x 3"

Description:

My attempt at the moth project... I'm extremely surprised that it turned out as well as it did. I nicked his upper left wing because I wasn't watching the other side of the gouge, and there is some tear out on the wings- it was difficult for me to determine the grain direction. Chris is an amazing teacher. His wording is so helpful and descriptive. For example, "nibble away", and "sneak up on the shape". He gets all the credit for this.
