We love showcasing our members carvings; after all, getting people to carve is what Woodcarving Workshops is all about! In the gallery you’ll see a wide range of carvings, from novice to advanced; each one the result of time and effort, inspiration and dedication. We value them all!

Description:
I have learned a tremendous amount from watching and listening to Chris’ videos and observing his techniques. This is a very early (I had been carving for about 2 months) pierced relief carving from Chris’ book, Woodcarving Course & Reference Manual: A Beginner's Guide to Traditional Techniques. It was carved in Chris’ class at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship class in July 2014.
