Description:

Been carving in spare time the last 8 years. Have progressed slowly using my dads old knives. Nice to find this website to get some directions. Been doing by trial and error. Have done landscape scenes, animals, & two portraits. Been wanting to do this since granddaughter was born, she is now 4. Have finished most of the carving and now deciding on whether to add any highlights and what style of frame (if any). Still struggling with sharpening and not knowing what tools to buy. Now I have retired and have more time for my wood working.
