This collection of insects was stimulated by Chris's video on Moth carving. From the top: 1. Cicada, Huon Pine, tooled finish with Danish Oil. Eyes paint plus nail polish hardener. 2. Dragon Fly, Huon Pine and Jarrah, wing pattern using Ukibori technique, Danish Oil. 3. Moth, Huon Pine, tooled finish with Art fixative spray. 4. Butterfly, King Billy Pine, sanded finish, Danish oil. 5. Butterfly, Huon Pine, sanded finish, Danish Oil.
