Description:
This is a piece of wood that grabbed me and I had to have it. It's purpose finally presented itself when I needed to make a sign for our artist studios (my wife's and my shop). The challenge was the spalted nature of the wood which had been exposed for years outside at the wood supply shop. I had to give in to letting go of perfection and let the wood have its way. Added some details of swallows which inhabit our area by the lake and some pyrography detail by my wife, Susan.
