We love showcasing our members carvings; after all, getting people to carve is what Woodcarving Workshops is all about! In the gallery you’ll see a wide range of carvings, from novice to advanced; each one the result of time and effort, inspiration and dedication. We value them all!

This piece is now finished inspired by the Chris and Carrie video on drapery. The chamois leather model in the workshop which led onto Milan and studies from the Duomo Cathedral statues, what an inspiration from the skilled crafts people so many years ago. Nearly completed when the fire in the Notre Dame Paris happened, people here in France where shocked to the core. Do we have the ancient skills to rebuild it I hope so. In this event is a message to all of us ... keep carving, keep giving away your pieces to others, keep the craft alive and thank you Chris and Carrie for your vision and contribution to our enjoyment and the craft of woodcarving in general. Might try carving a soap box for my next project.
