Description:
My wife asked me to build 3 boxes for her (swedish) wardrobe. Together we selected birch as the appopriate material. Later, I found out, that this tree symbolizes light, love, life and luck (or would you sag happiness?) - so I decided to carve these words to the front of the boxes. This changed my decision for the joinery as well, since I didn‘t want to distract from the carving. This was my very first carving project - done After a couple of YouTube tutorials with very limited tools (a children set).
This project was done by a carver with less than 12 months experience.
