3D Registration

In this useful workshop, Chris teaches you how to take an existing object, such as a small sculpture, plastic animal, old boot or what have you, and transpose it onto a block of wood, which you can cut out in preparation for carving. It's a terrific time-saver and when done correctly, gives you a fairly accurate facsimile.

Although it's helpful to have a bandsaw, the cutting away of waste wood can definitely be done, and is worth doing, with hand tools!
