6 Focusing part 1

We now take a second 'pass' and tighten up the various parts of the carving, pushing cavities deeper and creating more shadows.

Robert - Nothing special here but apologies for making assumptions. I do say in #2, 'Make sure the carving is well clamped', meaning C or G clamps to the edge of the bench or, if you have them, gripping the board between your end vice and bench dogs. The important thing is to make sure the work doesn't move and that you can get at it safely and conveniently. Hope you are going to have a go!
