Description:
This amazing Moth stayed with me in my Workshop for a week and thus inspired this project. I regard it as a Carved 3D Marquetry piece. Having finished the carving I decided not to attempt to colour it as I feared it would stop being a carving and become an oilpainting which I definitely did not want. Just another piece for our Art Neuveau Sitting Room.
