Description:
This piece is my original design. I did a clay model and took photos for reference. A lady asked me a number of years ago that she wanted a carving for her retirement. I did not expect her to ask for a mermaid! The fin was the tricky part as I had to be sure the grain was going in the right direction to allow me to make the fins narrow.
