Description:

"Flowers make life better" This is my first carving. I got my inspiration from Chris's website. When I first started looking at woodcarving about 2 months ago, I got a work corner in my GF's glass studio. Her father and I, built a small workbench (3rd picture). This carving was repeated many times, before I finally decided to call it "finished". As a beginner there are many numerous cuts that do not go right. Unfortunately or fortunately these then are permanent part of one’s carvings. It happened many times, and many times I redid the project. I finally had to call it “finished”. I ended up doing some modifications to the flower itself. It is deeper than what I had wanted. So this is the finished carving. Thank you for the oppurtunity to showcase my work. I already have my next project begging to be started. best, imran.
