Description:
These are two general-purpose dovetailed boxes that have a "hops vine" motif carved into their tops. I had some walnut lying around and wanted to try carving it and a new (for me) design pattern. I took the idea for the pattern from the Manual of Traditional Wood Carving, edited by Paul N. Hasluck. The biggest challenge in this project was lowering the ground in some very tight spaces.
