Chris & Carrie

acanthus leaf

Project Owner: Wynne Lee
Type of Wood: mahogany
Finish: wax
Dimensions: 14" long X 6.6" wide

Description:

I started this for a class 2 years ago, took me about a year off and on to finish. Grain in wood went every which way, making it challenging. This was my first carving totally 'tooled', no sanding, also my first relief where I tried for a smooth background.
